This Shipping Policy applies to all purchases made on the Galah Home website. We are committed to processing your orders quickly and ensuring your beautiful new homewares and gifts arrive safely.

📦 Order Processing

All orders are processed and prepared for dispatch from our warehouse within 1 to 3 business days of receiving full payment.

  • Processing times exclude weekends and public holidays.

  • During peak seasons (e.g., Christmas, Black Friday), processing times may occasionally be extended. We appreciate your patience during these times.

Australia-Wide Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

We ship Australia-wide using reliable courier services, primarily Australia Post where size and weight permit.

Please note that delivery estimates begin after the order has been dispatched (up to 3 business days after purchase).

Important Shipping Rate Notes

  • Product-Specific Rates: Some individual product pages may specify a different shipping rate, which will supersede the flat rate listed above.

  • No Free Shipping: We currently do not offer a free shipping threshold.

 

🖼️ Shipping for Large, Bulky, or Oversized Items

Items classified as Large, Bulky, or Oversized, including (but not limited to) certain artwork, framed prints, and furniture, are excluded from the standard flat-rate shipping structure.

  • Quote Required: If you purchase a Large/Bulky item, the shipping cost will be calculated and provided to you separately after checkout. We will contact you via email with a personalised shipping quote for your approval before processing the order.

  • Quote Refusal: If you decline the shipping quote, we will happily process a full refund for the item.

 

📍 Delivery Restrictions

To ensure the safe and tracked delivery of your valuable items, we cannot ship to the following locations:

  • Post Office Boxes (P.O. Boxes)

  • Parcel Lockers

Please ensure you provide a valid residential or business address where the courier can obtain a signature upon delivery.

❓ Lost or Damaged Parcels

We take great care in packaging all orders; however, in the rare event that your order is lost or arrives damaged:

Damaged in Transit

  1. Notify Us Immediately: If your item arrives damaged, please contact us immediately at [Your Customer Service Email Address] within 48 hours of delivery.

  2. Provide Evidence: Include your order number and clear photographs of the damage to the item and the external packaging.

  3. Resolution: Once we confirm the damage and assess the claim, we will offer a replacement or a full refund for the damaged goods, including the initial shipping cost.

Lost in Transit

If your tracking information has stalled, or you believe your package is lost:

  2. Investigation: We will initiate an investigation with the courier (Australia Post or others). This investigation can take up to 10 business days.

  3. Resolution: If the courier officially confirms the package is lost, we will offer you a replacement (if stock is available) or a full refund.
